Just goes to show that you don’t really need beatmatching, mondo-glitches and all that other what-not to make a great mix.
The music is what matters and music is enough.
Sounds like you should be driving thru the night to nowhere in particular . . . you know, one of those kind of nights.
A good whiskey-drinkin’ compilation naz.
And if you ain’t got whisky, a good beer-drinkin’ compilation.
And if you ain’t got beer, God bless ya anyway.
Thanks naz!
Chilled out country/alternative from some of the best in the genre (lambchop, calexico, etc) . Reminds me of Air’s “Western Songs” mix. I enjoy when you listen to a mix from someone who’s knows their history, not just the newest tracks. Crate digger/selectah . Cool Damned cover as well (the other cool version of Alone Again i’ve heard is from the Bottle Rocket sndtrk). Thumbs up!
cheers for the comments. I made this in the middle of the night (can’t sleep, it’s very warm here at the moment) a couple of days ago using my crappy desktop speakers. I rendered it as version 1 to listen back to it so I could work on it later and fix a few things but when i opened acid the next morning i hadn’t saved it !
sounds melancholy. yeah i like it

It’s almost been a year and I’m still listening to this mix on a regular basis, an outstanding selection!
Hi, Guys,
I’m a designer from Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
So, I don’t make music but listen to all kinds of stuff while working.
I became a B00mb0x memeber a couple of months ago. And have been digging through the archives like crazy.
This is one of my favorites.
just had to let you know.
keep up the good work!
2014, 9 nine years after my previous comment, still listening to this. Amazing selection.
