Same premise as for the 80s mix: an alphabetical theme with each letter having a sample from a classic 70s pop culture film beginning with that letter and a track beginning with that letter.
This time only the X film was a compromise because of lack of alternatives.
Hope you enjoy.
Another top mix. Will be adding this & the 80’s one to my pubs playlist tonight.
90’s one next?
Cheers. 90s would be the logical next one, but I’m going to do something else before coming back to this theme – it takes a lot of effort 🙂
By the way, Blouberg as in Cape Town suburb right? Do we know each other from my time in CT, or just coincidence?
Hi Matrix. You are correct sir. When where you in Cape Town?
This is the pub where both mixes are going down well.

2011 and 2012. My favourite city! Bound to come back for a visit either later this year or next.
Cape Town is special. Been living here since 2003. Let me know when you are heading this way. Lots happening!
Interesting exercise, must have taken ages to put this together.
Such a worthwhile listen. Your gifts appear highly evident in this work. I had a blast with it.
In fact, I had to share it, so I mentioned it here in my weekly mashup column. –

Thanks for such a satisfying, & interesting masterpiece.
Thanks Konrad. Thought I’d scared everyone off with the very middle of the road B-C-D stretch 🙂
