Those songs are about food, as you may have guessed by their titles. I tried to put as much diversity and quality in there to please a lot of people, thus there are famous songs, infamous ones, and some rarities. I love all the songs, even the Spinal Tap one 😉

If some of you understand French, I suggest you pay special attention to the France Gall song, the content is implicitely sexual (I dunno wether or not young France Gall really understood what she was singing), just an example, translated, of some of the chorus :

I did not succeed in makling nice transitions all the time, I did my best.

hehe, i loved the way you progress through so many genres. Smooth transition between most tracks but its still WowTastic as usual. i loved last months also.

i think i should eat now.

What’s really great about this is how you made all the different flavors work together. A most enjoyable mix. The B 52’s rock my world.

Loved it a usual dEZ… you always come up with gems in your mixes.

I also think that you’ve looked at it the wrong way round… some of the transitions are really good considering the tunes that you’re mixing.

Hellow

It took me a whole week to put those tracks together, I had around 100 tracks too choose from and I had first to select which ones would be in and which one would be left out.

I absolutely had to have some of actual favorites in it, including the intro by Genesis, as Swamp recalled I mentionned it some time ago.

All in all, when I thought it was finished, I submited to the hugely demanding ears of my beloved wife, which said to me that it was neat, excepting The sugarcubes and Talking Heads, the rest flowed quite nicely, but at the end she was stuffed.

Wow, this is excatly what I wanted, so I worked a bit on some transitions to make them more acceptable and tried some combo between the tracks and when I thought it was ok for me, I made those awful covers and tracklist and hop, upload the menu to b00mb0x.

One last word, I discovered the Lee Perry track just for this mix and it soon became one of my favourite.

Now I’ve got to torture my brain and activate my synapses to come out with something for next month.
