This mix I did in 2004, incorporating some old (updated) TV Sci Fi tunes & some of my fav tracks regarding the subject of space. A good percentage of it is local talent with 2 tracks coming from my close DJ pals, Crooked Mouth DJ & DJ Decay (The Dub Dentist) yes he’s a real dentist. Nothing fancy, just a fun mix with plenty of film & TV samples. A precurser to the robot mix.
The Bran Flakes – Music from Another Planet
Barry Gray – Captain Scarlet
The Beatbox Saboteurs – Star Trek
Kid Koala – Scratch Star Trek
Jools MF – Is there life on Mars?
Ded Wood – Got Space 1999 Problems but my UFO aint one
DJ Eddie Def – Demonic Forces
Mix Master Mike – Unidentifried
Gerling – Enter Space Capsule (Avalanches – Enter your Space Ship mix)
DJ Soup – Raygun
DJ Netgyrl – Holodeck Fantasy
I Roy and Lee Scratch Perry – Space Flight
Crooked Mouth – Maybe not coming back
Hoodlum Priest – Tyrell and Rebel Angel
The Dub Dentist – Neo
Cosmic Baby – Blade Runner
Star Trek Tekkno
The Daleks – Dr Who Theme (vocal mix)
I’m confident in stating I’ve heard this super set at least 10 times.I even drew up my own cover for it,while listening.I’d post it here, but no pics.Peeps will like this one.

Looks top class. D/L now… I am so far behind with mixes at the moment, I’ve now got a queue of mixes that have jumped to the top of my previous listening queue. This one is definitely up there.
Loving anything involving Commander Hoek and Cadet Stimpy. “Back off, man! Don’t make me use this!”
On the subject of space dentists… Did you see the DJ QBert Wave Twisters DVD?
That was a good fun mix, love the version of the Dr Who theme at the end, and I’d forgotten all about Hoodlum Priest, I used to have his “Caucasian” on a compilation tape, wicked tune π
DJHDD – Space Madness
