that last high contrast tune kicks ass big time – enjoyed the mix, love a bit of sumer drum and bass – though the first mix seemed half a beat out of time – was it just me?

As for High Contrast totally agree….I’ve always loved his tunes, but ‘If We Ever’ is probably his best ever.
maybe its the vocal scanning in a weird way? dunno! maybe i was just mashed…

I know what you mean Bong, D&B is a marmite type of music (either love it or hate it). I’m not a big fan of the heavier stuff, but the jazzy/funky/brazilian stuff really floats my boat.
I find that it’s surprisingly easy to mix as well, given that people always assume that it’s gonna be dead hard….suppose the heavy random D&B tunes probably are!
Nice work Stu, this one builds nicely and the mixing is flawless as ever.
Have to admit I’m a bit of a sucker for ‘LK’, It’s just one of those tunes with a great party vibe to it! 😈

So am I, I actually was planning on mixing the LK instrumental and vocal back-to-back, but then I thought it might be a bit too much……I’m also a sucker for Racing Green and High Contrast’s stuff generally.
Good stuff Stu. Plenty of head nodding to this. Good selection of dnb tunes. Especially liked DJs Pulse, Marky and Fresh at the start.
