Sorted the filing issue…anyway, when the MP3 gets sorted out, it’s a funky breaks mix with some house and latin, but all of it is uptempo and fast, with nothing too hard. Should be a nice start to a big night out!
The first tune started off life as part of a three-way mix with Moon People (as played by Bong), Christina Aguilera and the Mo Horizons tune, soon decided that it goes better in an all uptempo mix.
Got another funky breaks mix planned ’cause I’ve got loads more quality breaks tunes that need a good home. Hope y’all like it!

Gridban, I reckon that it’s important in this type of mix to keep building it up.
Last four tracks are all cracking. Progresses nicely!
I had a listen twice to this – for some reason I seem to “space out” halfway through (Looks like I picked the wrong week to give up amphetamines) – it losses my attention a bit (arh I loose it at the Skewiff song) maybe becuase it’s all seamless & flows like one long song – which means it’s good mixing but a wee bit safe. However I have now listened 3 times which is more than i do with many others. Just not enough hours in the day to hear all the music I would like.
Re-edit – this is’nt safe anymore – it’s just the songy bits in the middle that lost me for a while. Love the begining & end 😆
It carries straight on through with very similar beats which is a great thing. I had previously experienced cuts 2,5 & 8.A very easy set to spin as it lends itself well to soothing,yet energetic soundplay.Congrats on a fine mix. 😀 😀 😀 😀 8) 8) 8) 8)

Yeah there’s some old and some new stuff on there that are for the main part all similar. Except “Dancin Box”, which was a bastard to try and mix in to and I bottled it!
HDD, I thought that the singy tunes may be a bit hit & miss. Personally I love them, but I can see why some people may not. I wanted to level it out halfway through and then pick it up again for the ending; looks like I succeeded!! The next breaks mix “Sound as Two Pound” is gonna be more like the start and the end of this mix; got some mighty fine tunes to mess around with and I’m already about 12 tunes into the planning. Anyway, glad you liked it if only in two parts!!;)
BTW, checkout Beatonic’s website for the latest mixes that have been posted, if you like this style of tunes. Got quite a few in there that I’ve played on this mix or that I’ve got planned in my next mixes.

Yeah, I suppose that they are slightly different than the rest. Tried to vary it up a bit, so I kind of thought that it might be a bit hit & miss for some. Glad you liked the rest though :mrgreen:, overall I was well chuffed with this mix as I can progression in my mixing.
Got Sound (As Two Pounds) tracklisted and ready to be mixed. That will be a lot more like the middle bit of this mix, and should hopefully be better.
The next couple of mixes are back to my previous style, with an eclectic mix to follow those.
Wow, I love this! I can just see me and the crew bopping about to this after getting back from a night out, very up tempo and happy!
Similar stuff would get my vote. 😛
Cheers Niblet, glad you’re likin it. There’ll be at least another two in this series; second one is ready to be mixed and the third will be in the nearish future. Got another two or three to post before the third one and I generally try and post every couple of weeks.

Very funky mix Mr Scouse, it did lose me at Dancing Box (the flow went and it sounds like a bastard to mix as well!!) but as you say you aimed to level it off before building again to the end. You succeeded as well fantastic latter half. Loved that Freeland mix of Fever as well. Fine mix, cheers hp 😀 😀 😀
