Okkkkkkkkkkkkkk … loosening the archiving restrictions for the entire site to three months caused a little consternation that I hadn’t envisioned, but looking at it again I suppose the few supporting the many has the potential to piss the few off. So that’s out the window then. Let no one say that when I see which way the wind is blowing that I do not also blow.

One option would have been to bring the restrictions back to one month. However, our hosting company have insanely increased our bandwidth and I wanted to pass this on. On the other hand, our subscribers make the whole site possible and subscribe for either the incentive of permanent hosting or archive access. I’m leaving the subscriptions in place but with a catch.

Every mix on b00mb0x is now public and available to download without restrictions. It sounds too good to be true and it just might be. There’s no incentive to subscribe any longer though and the site will depend on it’s subscriptions to go on. Ultimately, it will be the users of b00mb0x who fund it. There is a possibility that that won’t happen. This is something I wanted to do after the new year, but the lead ballon yesterday made me bring it forward.

I’ll refund any mixer who wants their subscription refunded. I’ll refund any other subscriber who joined in the last month. Please email me privately.
