New mixer Soundadvice offers a quite good new dancey-dance mix:

Or as he puts it: “We have a night in Sheffield called BodyBag – this CD is a taster of the kind of music we play, hope you enjoy it – it is an electroclash mix with some well known acapellas put over the top of some of the tracks live to add a bit of variety. Bodybag is on the 27th April at Hush bar in Sheffield from 7pm until late.”

Thank god i don’t have to write movie synopsis or reviews for a living. Taking something you love and making money off it through someone else’s vision is always a fast road to becoming a giant asshole. Unless you are one already.

So here’s the synopsis for House of 1,000 corpses by some dickhead that sits in an office and used to like movies: READ MORE

It continues in this vein, mocking hippie ideals by letting the characters adopt their own stereotypes (feminest vegetarian lesbian, political protester etc) and letting them loose with initial http://b00mb0x.org. Due to stuff I can’t control. I won’t be able to broadcast the mixes this weekend. But on the bright side, everything ELSE about the site is working hunky dory. Whoohoo. Hopefully we’ll have our normal Sunday broadcast, however. And we’ll get this all weekend mixes thing going next Thursday for sure. :)

Mekajinn writes: “Once again the Prolific Paddy treats us to a feast for the ears. Now, Electro is definately NOT my thing, yet I still found this totally listenable and actually found myself enjoying it. Damn him! Soon he will be doing an opera mix no doubt! Anyway, I would thoroughly recommend you give this a listen, but it makes me seem like a crawly bum lick, so I won’t. So there!”

Due to anonymous complaints to our web host, b00mb0x.org will be shutting down at the end of the day. Sorry, it’s been fun.
