abrakadabara is one of those songs from my youth that i find myself singing occasionally , even after all these years. its the chorus innit
Nice mix. I particularly liked the obscure stuff at the end (well, I’d never heard of them).
Thanks guys. Abracadabra was sooo cool when I was a kid, and it won’t get out of my head (like the Nu Shooz track “I Can’t Wait). It’s the chorus for sure, “I’m gonna reach out and grab ya”. Keep your mitts to yourself Mr Miller. I’m glad you liked the mix. A couple of the tracks are by Psychic TV (Uninc and Mistress Mix) from their acid house days. Their dance music (circa 88-94) is very eccentric and underplayed. Check “Jack the Tab” and “Toward thee Infinite Beat”. And for the best mash-up song before mash-up was big (about 1989ish) check out their track “Liquid Eyeliner”.

Agree, I once owned a copy of Jack v Tab on vinyl until it got pinced – by the way dont tell anyone but Mr P. Orridge is a cousin of mine somewhere down the line – not heard the mix yet but the tracklisting grabed my attention. Will download & comment again later.
