Thank you, Firestopper. One reason that I like doing “dusties” is because its like gathering memories…And not just my own. Herb Kent is still going strong after 60+ years in radio…And he still to this day, can drop the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s with no problem. My Granddad use to say that old is always 10 years older than you are…Forever young. Peace.
some of my all-time favorite songs in your mix — loving it…! reminder to everyone, warvadal has another “love dusties” mix here at boombox from back in May 2008 too —
Just listened to this yet again and when checking out the tracklist discovered I hadn’t commented. Shocking behaviour for which I apologise profusely… anyway, terrific mix with some undiscoverd gems (to me) amongst the classics. Great fun, thanks v much. I’ve got various soul type mixes in planning stages and it’ll take summat to get anywhere near this standard, cheers hp 🙂 🙂

Thanks big time, useo. Its always great to hear from you. peace.
Great selection, and another beautiful Love Dusties mix. Some wonderful tunes, and some real tear jerkers in places.
I’d forgotten how good the original “You Can’t Hurry Love” is (before Phil Collins massacred it). Great work.
Thank you, mr lovely. Peace.
