This is a compilation of sweet songs, most of them classics to me.
I’ve included two songs in french, the Gainsbourg track is an absolute
classic. I know most of the tunes are well known, I think you will enjoy
the way I’ve put them together. I paid no attention to the lyrics, I just
arranged them in a way I like to listen to while sunbathing.
Oh, and btw, the Puccini short chorus was the theme we choose for our wedding
my wife and I. Kinda sad, but it suits very well, averyone was expecting some
other classical music if you see what I mean.
enjoy…
sorry, a few of the comments I’ve been posting have been blocked as spam…just discovered that and de-blocked this one
Lovely….nlm
Not strictly my taste,as it’s so ballad-y,but despite that I did enjoy it much.Hard not to feel the tug on the heart-strings.I give you much credit for that.Feelings frighten many.
That gabriel track is fantastic.Very classical-sounding.
That n young one was marvelous, too.
The flow works well. The consistant selection gives it a big push..Not one to dance to.lol
btw-just excellent cover.
I reckon You have about the best music empathy and ear ive heard in many eons. If i still ran my club Id get you in to show them what a proper chill room means !!! Thanks 🙂
Plus travellin is excellent
Gently, prog-tastic that mate !
Really enjoyed it, in a lazy Sunday afternoon type of way.
Deffo one for the garden on a long sunny afternoon I think.
Thank you. 🙂
😀
I’m very glad some of you enjoyed my melancholy mood, I actually listen alot to this kind of music. It really has some prog touches here and there . . .
I only recently discovered the “Bessie Smith” song, and it’s the kind of music that grows up on you quite fast (To me, this one could last forever).
Steve Stevens was the lead guitarist of Billy Idol, and the album from which the song is taken is a gem.
And concerning P.G., he’s my favourite artist, here comes the flood give me the chill everytime I listen to it, I can’t wait to hear his new album . . .
My next up here will be much much more nervous
Ps : does anyone also think that “Surf’s up” from the Beach Boys is a terribly underrated record ?
😥
fer many yrs “surfs up” woz the only beach boys rekkid i owned/listened to. then i found out there wozza few more i liked, hehe. still has couple of me fave bboys trax onnit tho (see “popmix”)
I quite like Surf’s Up.I never thought I’d own all their stuff after being a punk fan for so long, but they bring it together, even if only in a mellow way.
