A half mark would be a good idea, as I quite often find myself either marking up or marking down a mix.
… not on decks because i’ve yet to have my equipment arrive yet … i’m working as AV tech in a hotel & given the busy season don’t have time to go around to find eqp. available …
So … when my CDJ 1000 Mk3’s & DJM 800 (plus SONY MDR-V700DJ for cans) arrive (due the 25th latest) … it’s showtime…

Fair enough … I’m doing the same … it just so happened that i find out about b00mb0x these days, so my first one up happened to not corespond exactly with the mood spirit & feell of the season … 😐
I’m lucky enough to have time to listen to mixes whilst I walk the dog, so this got a little outing the other day.
The festive mixes, don’t come too high up my list usually but Riko’s mix has changed my mind.
Nice kit btw, Mitzur@. Personally got two Denon DNS1000’s and a Behringer mixer, with an old CD deck for playing the occasional quote. CDJ 1000’s are cracking decks.

A fine effort, especially if you’ve just started. It’s not often that I take to the housier mixes on b00mb0x, mainly because I already fill my boots with the Radio 1 Essential Mixes. But this one has a straightforward fun feel to it that I like.
Well that’s just great … the fun feelling is what i was aiming at (hence the cover as well 8))
But hey guys … don’t forget to vote, doesn’t hurt to know (in mark terms) where you’re at.

CDJ1000’s….*Goes Green With Envy*
You getting the new style Sony MDR-V700DJ’s? Only the old ones had a problem where by after a bit of use the plastic used to crack on the arms rendering them pretty much useless afterwards. The new updated ones are sound (excuse the pun) though. I mix on Denon DN-D4000 cd players and Pioneer DJM 500 mixer (Which I love to bits!) – I did have a couple of Numark TT200 turntables but the motor is buggered on one of em so one one gets used now.

Yeah … although i’m just starting, i’m not one to settle for little so … some people have said to me “hey take it easy” & “it’s too much”, “what are YOU going to do with those, you’re just starting so you’ll be waiting years before you bla bla bla …”.
I only go for quality (hurts me often budget wise but…).
Should be the new ones … i’m having them brought from Germany together with the decks & mixer. I saw & heard them with one of my dj friends last week … I was impressed (i’m AV tech basicly – dj-ing is something very new for me – well, you could say AV is also rather new, doing this for the past 1 1/2 yrs only) – the fidelity … Wow
Over here, vinyl is so hard to find (well i could say that about quality music on cd’s – wouldn’t be far off) & expensive that it’s only an option if you’re really established & the greens are comin’ in so you can have them brought from abroad …
Anyway … loved your 24 Hour Party People mixes (i just finished The Early Hours).
Wow,Bong is only playing Christmas mixes.& I sent a rock one to be a counterpoint.I called that one wrong! Haha!
