This is my first time posting on b00mb0x: cheers to Wayne for helping upload the mix.
Here’s a mix I did for Resonance FM a couple of years ago for its Burning Decks show. It’s one of my favourite mixes: it changes direction and takes in a lot of styles. Hope you like it…

Welcome to b00mb0x 😀
anytimes skim and welcome to the b0x 😈
Christ, this is good stuff. I love the combination of shuddering squonky beats and dungeon ambience, some amazing textures here. I’m not quite sure which tracks are which, I only know a few of these artists but it’s really hitting the spot for me. It’s music I wouldn’t necessarily seek out for myself because I find Rephlex and Warp quite hit-and-miss but you’ve condensed this sound into an hour of constantly refreshing beats and patterns. Also, some decent spoken word snippets for once (whether yours or part of the tracks) which is a little extra!
not my bag but wonderfully put together. 😈
Same as Bong. Not into the experimental side of electronic music that much , but it’s a good well structured mix.
Interesting mix, I’m not too keen on the drill’n’bass stuff, it’s a bit too manic for me, but I love the Mogwai remix, and all the ambient stuff after that is great – and the whole thing is very well mixed. Btw Kim it’s Steve from Housebreakin’/Departure Lounge/OCB etc. – hi Kim! 😀
Yup,it’s a mighty good selection of sounds. Some harsh, some soothing.Very well-done with only the bjork cut known to me.I found it to be engaging & satisfying. Not a problem to play at all for me as I like much variety & this provides it.More into the artistic side of music than pop or dance.Congrats & thanks for posting. 😀 😀 😀 😀 8) 8) 8) 8)
Cheers for the comments, it’s always good to get feedback.
The Bjork bootleg is one of mine, just one of those magical moments when two records are played together and sound as though they should be one.
Hi Steve… I’ll make it to Departure Lounge one of these days 🙂
