Cracking stuff – I particularly like the bit 09. Little Barrie – Long Hair (Stereo MCs 7†Edit)
10. Psychemagik – Feelin’ Love
Two fantastic tunes that sit well together.
Thoroughly enjoyed the mix – kept me going on a grinding day at work.
Thanks Len. Happy with this one. It was intended as a more straight-up soul mix originally but the direction got hijacked by discovering some funky corkers such as the Temptations version. “Ain’t No Use” is more than 10 minutes long, but so good that it doesn’t seem like it at all.
Nice to hear some of the later Love tracks, TIme Is Like A River is a favourite of mine.
Crown Heights affair forward, just a funky fun mix. Idris, Temptations, Meters, Lamont Dozier. One for the skating rink
This is my open top car tape for the day – funking all the way to the beach! Funky indeed Mr Matrix… William DeVaughn – Be Thankful For What You Got has to be in my all time top ten 😉
Thanks chaps, glad the mix is going down well. Long eclectic selection coming at the start of June.
This does everything just right. The richness of the track selection is particularly notable. Many thanks.
