It’s easy to forget you have a set format of a-z, because it really just plays as a trip through the 60s, and some very great memories of my dad’s records and oldies radio during the 80s. Thanks for the trip
I just couldn’t resist the urge to grab it..
So many old favs there…
Top year to all from us “Down Under” folk..
😉
Cheers guys. These XYZ mixes take a fair bit of time, especially to locate the most appropriate film sample – sometimes I’ll get drawn in to watching the entire film again. Don’t think I can do a 50s mix, so 90s one will be the next one at some point.
As the whole point is to show classic film/music pop culture of that decade, I suspect that 2000’s onwards might be too difficult just because of the saturation of output that came with the Internet.
Godd stuff, very enjoyable. Is “Xpressway To Your Heart” really from 1977? It sounds a good ten years older.
Oh yes, some mistakes on the tracklist. Should be the 60s obviously. Fixing now.
So great. I love it. Played it three times so far. The care & selection of content is finest kind. Also, much praise for the detailed cover. Many thanks.
Thanks useo. Strangely enough, the film/track combo that worked the best was Balou over the top of Jumping Jack Flash. Wasn’t expecting that.
Looking forward to this…..
