Yes, this looks very nice. Will report back.
Thanks! As always appreciated. I’ve had writer’s block for a long time (had to put ideas on back burner till they cooked better), so getting this one out has been a relief. Oddly it is a split mix, where the first half ended up being instrumental and the back stretch vocal, and not on purpose. The genesis for the mix is Mi Swing Es Tropical, which I initially wanted to use as a first track when I heard the Mister Saturday Night mix cd “Weekends and Beginnings”, but finally saw the movie “Chef” and felt it could be a midway track.
Really enjoyable and all the better since the weather has changed here! Always loved that zero 7 remix, and a great selection of beatmeisters from the heyday of this type of music. Great mixing to top it off. Lovely job!
Thanks Len! In my head , when I hear Radiohead’s Zero 7 mix, I hear the Zombie’s “Spooky Little Girl Like You” and Shortwave Set intertwined. Of course, getting that to work out in the real world is tricky, so two out of three was my target. I keep pushing Cabaret Voltaire and RSW, one day I’ll exhaust their catalog. Thanks for the gracious words.
