Sublime! Some lovely transitions. And i really dig that barring FSOL, these are all new to me. 🙂
looks great – will be all over this
Thanks Tivert! I stuck with a Detroit/Chicago vibe, but with artists from different locals (UK, US, France) that fit the sound. The FSOL/Amorphous tracks I love, and wish were caned by techno djs more.
Len, thanks for the enthusiasm, can’t wait to hear what you think.
Been really enjoying this driving round the South of France. Superior techno (in the proper sense). Great mixing too.
Thanks Len! From this end of the world, France sounds pretty exotic, must be a beautiful drive. Since my dancing days are in the past, I think of driving when I put a mix together. Like you, I’m a fan of the more melodic techno as opposed to the Chris Liebing (CLR) variety that get’s boring really quickly. I’ve been capping mixes off w/UR because I can’t think of a better way to bookend a mix. I’ve gotta come up with another group to exploit for upcoming mixes.
You can’t go too far wrong with UR though! Very nice mix, definitely the kind of techno I prefer.
Thanks Shining Steve! I don’t know what’s in the water in Detroit, but they crank out magic. Considering the living conditions, I would guess extreme adversity, as in comedians, creates a drive to step up your game. And having Motown and Parliament @ your back helps too.
Nice mix indeed. As usual 🙂
Thanks Matrix!
