Looking forward to this. The greatest M___r F____k by John grant, should be uou that’s the greatest pinging these mixes out…
Cheers. This one was mostly spurred on by the Liminanas album, as you can see from the track list. The cover took longer than the mix; it’s an old fashioned scissors and glue job, demolishing a couple of years worth of music and film magazines.
A heady mix of indie pop and acoustic fun in a way that feels electronic. I like how you looped KLF (was expecting the full track) and there is a lot of unknowns here for me, so it’s very fresh.
Cheers Briscoe, I’m devouring new music at the moment so the last few mixes have mostly been artists new to me too.
Enjoyed this, not normally my thing, but hit the spot wandering the badlands of Stoke Newington 🙂
Really enjoyed this. the Liminanas – my new favorite band !
Thanks Protos! I agree, the Limiñanas album grabbed me immediately. They are dotted around the cover if you look closely enough – just above the pink-hatted ostrich, just below the Michael Jackson Thriller zombie and near the creature from The Thing.
