Another bunch of Feel Good Funk and Hip Hop Breaks, glued together with a couple of cuts and scratches to keep it interesting.
It’s kinda similar to my ‘Hang Loose Y’all!!’ tape, although this one was made with a broken mixer, no amp or speakers and a laptop that kept dying cos a cat named Parsley had munched on the power cable. Despite these minor problems, I think it came out ok.
It’s pretty head noddy at the start, goes a little Latin and then gets funky and picks up speed towards the end. And I’ve even included some handy step by step instructions on how to do ‘DJ What’s Breakaway’ on the cover for those of you that wanna get up and dance while it’s playing!
This one will have to keep you going for a few months cos next week i’m off to Cape Town then im gonna ride a motorbike off road all the way back through Africa and Europe to London!
New tape release when i’m back in autumn (as long as the Somali Pirates don’t get me!). Yo Lenodd, i’m a serato man but i reckon the new traktor is decent, i could be convinced into changing camps, especially seeing as i now use a Kontrol X1, which i’m totally hooked on as it means i never have to touch the laptop…
