Had some stuff on vinyl that I wanted to use in a mix eventually, so a mix that goes from easy listening to experimental to jazzy house then into fun grooves and Detroit house made use of some of these tracks. That Kool and the Gang track is a B side remix that I got @ Goodwill, and was glad to use it. The Daisy Glow I’ve had forever, as is the same for Molima and Akwaaba. The Matios track has been something I sing like all the time (killer use of vocals as samples). Hope you enjoy!
I’m not sure what to say.I feel like I somehow missed the point.
It’s a very eclectic set for me.
SO much of it seemed to come from another place than I am.
I didn’t click with it.
Clearly well-done.I find it intriguing how you made one with this flavour & it’s so successful,but somehow it eluded me.

I enjoyed this, lots of great tunes most of which I hadn’t heard, the UR track sounds like the theme tune for the best TV cop show never made 🙂

I got it from the Galaxy 2 Galaxy: A High Tech Jazz Compilation disc 2. How would I get it to you? It’s killer, I already had most of it on vinyl, but this was one of the tracks on the comp I’d never heard. I got the comp as a download when Oink was alive.
