Nothing could have prepared us for such a gracious night. As we waited outside, resident DJs Pat Styles and Joey Disco chatted with us before opening the doors. They payed our way in, allowed us to sit at the VIP booth, and invited me up to the turntables. The music was incredible, the atmosphere was unparalleled, and she and I both agree without reservation that it was the defining moment of our vacation.
Well.
I hear the bong influence from your past collab’s with the Master. Listening to Le Salon again three weeks in – still the best thing I’ve heard this year, son.

Spring break 2009. The love of my life and I decide to venture north (rather than south) to spend our money. We decide on Montreal, rent out a place on Rue de Guy, and feel out the various restaurants and clubs. Using google on my cell phone, I search for “deep house / montreal” and discover Le Salon Daomé…
Nothing could have prepared us for such a gracious night. As we waited outside, resident DJs Pat Styles and Joey Disco chatted with us before opening the doors. For me, Le Salon Daomé is the most sacred deep house foundation in Canada. If you are even remotely close to it, I urge you to explore this unique and relaxed nightclub. In the meantime, please enjoy this mix. Upon return from our trip, I told the resident DJs that I would be making a tribute mix to replicate the atmosphere, attitude, and sound of Le Salon Daomé — all the while retaining my own Lazy//Sexy style. This mix is the given fusion, and possibly my best deep house effort. I sincerely hope you enjoy this at the late hours of your own personal time.
Deep stuff, I like when deep house has a little funk
sounds like my kinda club

love the mix fella..
