This is my first mix experimenting with mixing in spoken word into the music. I grabbed the audio from a David Attenborough show about dragonflies, popped in some nice summery english tunes and here you have it! Hope you like it guys 🙂
1. Future Loop Foundation – A Very English Summer
2. Bent – King Wisp
3. The Merkin Dream – Softly
4. Amanaska – Falling Up
5. Piana – Blue Bells
6. Fragile State – Paper Smile
7. Laura B – Ice Cold Water (telefuzz remix)
8. Susumu Yokota – King Dragonfly
9. Future Loop Foundation – Sunshine Philosphy
10. Helios – dragonfly across an ancient sky
11. King of Woolworths – take the strain
12. Bonobo – Terrapin
13. Lol hammond – Love forgotten
Well, this is just the most sublime, gentle mix to be listenig to on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
Just beautiful. Sooooo relaxing.
Nothing new or innovative really, just put together with care & imagination.
Lovin it Tom, thank you so much fella.
🙂
Thanks for the comment Lenodd and Grave 🙂 Makes it all worthwhile!
Grave Maurice – 45 mins is about a minute into Sunshine Philosophy by Future Loop Foundation off the Memories of a Fading Room album. I highly recommend the whole album:
Got interrupted about 10mins in, but I can tell from what I’ve heard (and from the tracklist) that this is one tailor made for my tastes. Looking forward to checking the rest of it.

This looks the business, nice to see a bit of FLF and King of Woolworths… on the d/l now 🙂 cheers hp
Thanks guys – glad you’re liking it 🙂
lovely! never got round to grabbing it before, but perfect for a summers day!
now, where did i put that g&t and me shades? 😀
This a really, really nice mix. Attenborough is a bit unusual but reminiscent of Planet Earth’s rousing use of Sigor Ros.
Excuse the ignorance but what is the section at 45mins?

Heard this a while back, and really enjoyed it then. Anything with David Attenborough gets my vote. Nicely chilled flow and some sweet mixes.
Lovely 🙂 !
Just bought me the FLF album (& the remix disc) on the strength of your recommendation. Thanks.
Very nicely done. A bit too ‘dreamy’ for me in places, but enjoyed listening.
Thanks Matrix – thanks for stopping by 🙂 dreamy is my business, sorry if it went OTT in places 🙂
Grave – you won’t be disappointed!
