I was skeptical of the style, but it was most excellent.Big props to you for a memorable, enjoyable piece.
All tracks were splendid.I liked the smokey the best.
Fine cover,too.
looks very tasty this does……I reckon that i’m gonna enjoy this, when I manage to find time to catch up on the mountain of mixes that I’ve got to get through….
Thanks for listening everybody. It was fun putting this together. All your comments are very much taken to heart. Monty, that’s cool & funny too. Peace.
Really nice mix, & I too like the “radio format”.
Some wonderful tunes included.
I’m totally NOT a romantic type, however, I think this mix is very romantic.
Extremely easy on the ear.
Thank you. 🙂
WOW. Thanks folks for all the great responses. The Radio format came about because that’s the way I first experienced these tunes, and I wanted to relive them in that way. Thanks again & spread the love. Peace.
i’ve got remix of misty blue so was nice to hear the orginal and that last tune is a killer! radio format works superbly – where did it come from – an original show? tunes weren’t all for me, but really well put together, great stuff! 😀
Big Thanks everyone. lenodd, Herb Kent is a radio disk jockey out of Chicago, Ill., he’s been at it for over 40 years now. I downloaded a few of his original shows from a website, I don’t remember which one, quite a few years ago. So, I just used some of his words, phone calls, suggestions, etc, and added the tunes around it. Thanks for asking. Peace.
Been a bit behind on listening recently but been looking fwd to this and wasn’t disappointed – some beautiful uplifting soul and hilarious V103 skits. Excellent work.

Excellent mix. Some real corkers there. FM radio theme suits it well. GTA IV needs a station like this..

Musically it is mostly not my cup of tea, but nice craftsmanship on the mix – the radio idea works really well.
