Theme: Connections Reloaded by Ajay D'Souza. Derived from Connections.
An all-eighties vinyl set. Note that mixing is done alphabetically by title of song, to make it more of a challenge.

auuuh… THIS IS EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!! Thank you for making this mix. Thank you! Wonderful! Great track selections. WoW. I’ve gone back in time! π Good-Times!
I’m on my second listen now π WooHoo… LOVE it!!!!!
Was Not Was-Shake Your Head… wow!!! I have to share a little story about this very special track! Way back when many moons ago… well, ok – in the 80’s I picked up the cassette called “Was Not Was – Born To Laugh At Tornados”. Never heard of the group, the cover and title cought my eye. I popped into my cassette player which was attached to my 1972 Mustang (with 352 clevland engine block…;-) and kranked it up! I was so surprised! Then I hear this song… “Shake Your Head” and I went. huh??? That’s Ozzy Osborne’s voice I just know it, listened again and then read the cassette, sure enough, guest vocals Ozzy Osborne. WoW! Many other special tracks on the album btw~.. Thanks for taking me back man!
You’re all most welcome. Thanks for the feedback.I sit here looking out the window & wonder what people think.
GC-I bought that was (not was) on vinyl when it came out. They’re from Michigan where I am (akk)& got some good airplay.Have you ever heard the house version of “shake your head”? I can hook you up with it.
I don’t even know a single track in your work, so I’ll just listen to it and tell you later what I think of the songs.
Of course I know almost all the groups, but the tracks remain obscure to me, so I guess it’s time for me to discover some new songs, and reading the comments, they seem to be good.
(nice concept btw, never would have thought about it).
witness the change is a great tune, thanks for the reminder
Dude, you sure have a solid collection of 12″ from the 80s, I am jealous ! and you ripped them quite well indeed.
Thx for sharing, it is a keeper for me, I’m loving it.
Ps : I knew several songs without being aware of their titles, was glad to hear them again (where else could I have the opportunity to do it ?).
Was (not Was) were (are) absolute quality π
