meanwhile 30 or 40 versions of house of the rising sun gather on my hd. I hesitated quite a while to use them in party context but as I tried it, it turned out to be quite a success. the song is one of the best known in the world, almost everybody hooks in with “there is a house…” â€“ and they are amazed, because they never heard it like this.
of course the mix differs each time and takes between 20 and 30 minutes. This one brings to your ears (in order of appearance):

Not strange if you imagine that some of the most distinguished musicians of all times covered that song. And BECAUSE it’s such a common tune, the versions of it are extremely diverse.
