@ S.A.T.: Dj Disse sounds interesting. Where did you get his tracks? Can I download it from Myspace?
I have not got a MySpace login. Is that A Bad Thing(tm)?
Hi Ulrik – I had bought his ‘walk on the wild side’12” / music for dreams. Left a comment on his myspace saying it was a gr8 12 – the cool dude then got my details and sent me a promo cd of his debut album + the ‘under my dub’ 12″ / baleric biscuits which he was the ‘brains’ behind – YOU COULD CALL THAT A RESULT! Made my day anywaz!
Hola,..
can`t download the mix? Does it work?
Malte
just checked, working fine here malte..
have u tried right clicking the Download link, under the cover image with the number in backets next to it (139) .. and “Save Target As” to your desktop/music folder
bong – some other people have been having trouble d/ling sometimes – duno why, but they can’t seem to do it when they press the download button….
SAT – nice range of tunes – enjoyed em – the levels went a bit up and down though – had me messing with my volume control a bit much! 😉
len, tell them to right clik the download link and save target as 😉
Sorry about the vol levels lenodd – my copy of ableton broke(& gave me a rude message!) near to end of finishing this – so had to patch it up a bit! 😥
Loved this mix, as expected especially ‘Undercover Hippy’, gonna get his album when he releases it.
Cheers for givin’ it a listen stu…yeah billy’s (aka undercover hippy) a d.i.y muso – releases everything from his website. I think his 2nd album is gonna happen soon!
3 & 13 were a bit more than I could personally bear. The rest were most enjoyable & I enjoyed your work very much.
What is it about that pino-lsd track that is so compelling?I put that in a mix, too.Getting flack for it,but somehow it sends me.
I was surprised at the elo inclusion, but it largely passed me by without incident.
Wonderful cover there.
brilliant!
many thanx again mr useo – just checked your blog again to find more cool looking mixes to download – yeah that mr vidler ep has got as always v.clever mashups you can’t seem to leave alone!
Glad you didn’t mind the elo classic – I had it playing a lot when we had that very hot weather over easter & these soundtrks are for my pleasure at the end of the day!!!! I’m always going to try drop in some audio clanger to keep it interesting!
ELO are always a welcome addition in any mix imo
I’m with the Scouse, ELO are tip top.
Toni Scott is indeed the chief 8)
The DJ Disse tune is superb. Will also be looking for some of his / her stuff
Overall a great selections of songs. Nice one.
Cheers Ken for giving the selection a listen – yep that Toni Scott trk was an anthem for me back in the day!
There’s two more trks from DJ Disse on the ‘Breakin Thru’ mix just posted. The ‘Break on Through’ trk just ‘rocks’ – I first caught it a few yrs back on a white label – the album will be out soon – end of august.
I’m unbelievably far behind in the listening the mixes. Just got to this one, big thumbs up. Excellent track selection. Disse caught my ear when Trentemoller used Break On Through in his Essential Mix, I ended up using it a few mixes back. Will definitely seek out more.
