A few things:
Just skimmed the mix over (it’s a bad habit but I always skim before the full listen) and I can’t wait to review this.
And if this really is #1, then I’m assuming this will be a series, and THAT is good effin’ news.
Be back in a few hours or so for the full-on literature.
Only seen the sleeve so far,but it’s great distinctiveness. It raises the anticipation level.
Yeah – very sweet mix, enjoyed it thoroughly
That was spot on, I loved every second – beautiful

thankyou π
Soothing & yet full of vigor.Had a wonderful time playing it.loved the motion & textures.Only knew Moss & Digital minds.
Well done in all respects.
The tracks had a good comparative feel, but with enough individuality to keep it plenty interesting.
Overall splendid. The stuff on this site is compelling & your mix is an excellent demo why.
Rumpfunk #1
By Denzil
Denzil, our beloved pilot of deep funky movin’ house, recently went into the black-market phramacutical business; his male growth pills were a sucess, regardless of what anyone else will tell you (including himself). If you missed out on the MySpace business, well, he’ll do you one far better: Rumpfunk numero uno, his latest undercover effort.
“Nic’s Groove” starts off bassy, bouncy, and happy, giving us an inkling to what’s in store before Inland Knights follow up with hard hitting vocals, quick keys, and all out funk. Uneaq’s upbeat bass tune leads into Pete Moss’s glittery cut, finishing off a stellar introduction preformance.
The set shifts into a new, spacey, funky gear with Majik J’s tune. From here, the energy continues well into a killer remix of Rob Slac’s “I Like To Move” by Johnny Fiasco and “Mind Illusions” by Frank Rogers. In this mix things are getting spacier, heavier, and rarer than a U.S. spy satellite.
The Unknown track by the Unknown artist is a laser guided missle aimed directly at your sound set. Should you survive, you’ll find yourself spazzing out — no, not to chemical weapons or the like, it’s “Nostalgia” that’ got your mind set on “mental”. Denzil finishes you off with a clever dub by Seamus Haji, a suitable electro cut for any energeti set.
You don’t need a passport, birth certificate, let alone any credentials to listen to this mix — but you may want to keep them handy. Denzil’s mixing is right on the money, his track selection is lethal, and should you fall to a funked-out overdose, it’d be nice if you left something behind for the filth to work with. Just don’t get caught with those pills.
Guys, many many thanks, essentially I am a live/club dj with Igloo and Aztec club nights based in Liverpool, these mixes are done off the cuff, they are not planned they are just done so your comments are lovely. Once again thankyou and PEACE π
oh my! This is it! the shit that is. Nicely done!
I’m halfway through and this is the kind of house that I can enjoy…some great tunes and very impressive mixing.
nice one, cheers π
Finally got round to this one last night and had to listen straight through again this morning. Absolutely gorgeous mix, beautifully put together and hardly a toon I recognised to make it all the more exciting. Brilliant, thnaks hp π π π π π
