I enjoyed the challenging nature of this mix.No tracks reached out & ‘grabbed me’,but I dont think that was your intent.
You put much enjoyable,& alternately gripping sounds into this.I had no probs playing it straight through, although a few were sluggish.
Fne sound & mixing.I liked how you played 2 things at once sometimes.
now thats what i call a mix.
i particularly liked the african boy
track “lidl” it made me smile.
i thought it was varied enough to be uncategorizeable (is that aword?)
and not every mix has to be “soulwax”,
sometimes it’s good to leave the kitchen sink out.
Mixed bag for me. Really just mind blowingly good in parts. Reminded me a lot of the Avalanches with the mixtures of beats and spoken word. Sometimes though just a bit too busy, such that it became confusing and hard to listen too. Kudos for being ambitious though and pulling it off 90% of the time.
Look forward to more.
Exactly the same comments as Ross. At times it gets too crowded for me and I’m not sure what I should be listening to, BUT there are some great moments in there as well.

OK – this one was a bit too much for me.. had to stop it… nice mixing, but content was just to urban and desturbing for me.. 😥
Cheers Soleboy!
Sorry to not please Mr Green Cheese, thanks for giving it a spin anyways – what do you mean by ‘distrubing’?

Cheers Jonnychiba,
That Lidi track is great isn’t it. I think AfricanBoy will do really well for himself. Well I hope he will.
Cheers Alice!

Cheers RossS and Dangerscouse, both your comments are really appreciated. I think your both right, at certain parts I bit off more than I could chew.
Easily done, I can get carried away and then my wife brings me back down to earth after she listen’s to it and grimaces!! 😉
HAHA! Well all I need to do now is get myself a wife and my mixing should improve.
That’s the only reason I got married….. 😉
