Big up Matrix
Yes! This is great stuff Matrix, loved the alternating between straight-up funk kicks and the subsequent drops into some real low-down skanking. Worked very well, unobtrusive spoken word bits too, which I normally don’t like so much. Really effective work with some staple genres.
Matrix, you know I love your weird mindfucks.
some fat tunes here, la 😉
Thanks for the comments. I enjoyed making this one, it seemed to come out in a combined style that I wasn’t expecting at the start.
Three of the tracks are sourced from an excellent compilation of King Tubby’s productions, “In Fine Style”, highly recommended.
We’ve just had mates round and we sat in our garden, spliffin’ and chillin’, and dancin’. Top, top mix!!
Thanks for this, great mix.
