Everyone does an 80’s mix eventually, right?
Here’s my half-arsed attempt.
Now, I know there’s some 70’s(Mr Benn) & 90’s (Vanilla Ice) stuff thrown in here too, but it’s all stuff i remember from my youth, so I stand by the title.
Oh, and apologies for the slightly dodgy quality that sometimes sounds like it’s a cassette being chewed up by a ghetto-blaster, but I think it all adds to the authenticity.
Ready? Enjoy!

I’m a sucker for these 80’s mixes and this is up there with the best (DJ Yoda watch out!). Very inventive, very well thought out and nicely blended. Totally agree that the variable sound quality adds to the authenticty. Love the cover too.
Almost a side quizz identifing the Voice overs
from films etc. My only critism that the voice overs were a bit loud and distracted from the
real star the “music”
Cheers for all the positive feedback guys.
I do agree with whoever suggested the samples may be a bit loud. I had a bit of trouble getting the levels just right on this one.
I console myself with the fact it sounds a bit like that great 80’s pastime i bet we all took part in – Taping off the radio. 😉
This took me way back birdman……….loved it……loved the Aussie touches with Skippy and Sons and Daughters…..and the pac man bit blew me away…….the movie samples were a bit loud at times……but your right it adds to the feel of the 80’s……loved it

This is 80s tastic Frankie. I was just putting together an 80s mix…I hope it’s half as good as this. cheers.
Cheers Pigeon……i’m goin love this……..
Great cover as well DJ FP………..
Another great mix, with a few songs I’ve not heard since the 80’s. I didn’t praise the last mix, but this one definitely makes up for that.
Any mix that includes Pass The Dutchie is always worth listening to!
Ahem . . . Wizbits == top mix.
Thoroughly enjoyable Mix.

But that is only my opinion.
Keep up the great work.
Greetings from Oz.
I agree, guess the film quote.
Top laugh this mix Frankie, nice one. Isn’t the Pac-Man music so mixable?
Cheers for all the positive feedback guys.

OK – 80’s quiz.
Name the film where the “Yeah!” quote I have used throughout the mix comes from.
First one correct wins a packet of hedgehog flavoured crisps.

DJ FP strikes again with another inspired dose of lunacy and I luv it!!
Love the 80’s mix. Reminds me of the 2rue mixed tape mixes from back in da days.
