First off , love the live version of Star Guitar. You juxtapose back and forth between the organic and electronic with good tracks like Prince Charming and Kids Can Dance. And ending it with lounge cheesiness , nice mix

Enjoyed that. All over the place in a good way. Not personally keen on QOTSA but some of the other choices are real favourites of mine particularly Poor Leno, Kids can dance and Hardest button to button.

Where’s that Lemon Jelly track from? I (like a couple of others who hang round these parts) am a big fan of theirs, but I don’t think I’ve ever heard that version of ‘All the ducks..’ before. Is it available anywhere? And same question goes for ‘March of the phat kittens’.

    Thanks for the nice comments!

I do usually like to mix genres rather than stick in one vein – although I’m currently working on a couple of sustained themes for future release.

The Lemon Jelly track was on my Pc and I thought it was off the CD single. However, I have now found out that it wasn’t and have unfortunately deleted the MP3 – DOH!

“Phat Kittens” was the best that I could come up with having diced and spliced Leftfield’s Phat Planet and Underworld’s Kittens – it’s a DJ Dirk special and I want you to nuture it!!.

    laters!
