Just a note that for the previous um 2 months and through December I’ve been very very slowly transitioning all sections of the site to Moveable Type. It’s a rather grueling and time consuming process and I don’t spend that much time a week doing it.
Well, I’ll be doing it a bunch more in the next few weeks so if stuff disappears/reappears, then looks really weird/then looks ok, then sections just suck for a week well now you know why. I imagine real websites don’t do this “live” but um this is a FAKE WEBSITE SO NYAH.

This was a pleasant surprise on our Backpacking Adventure after the fleecing we got in Melbourne. Staying at the Princes Consort in Fortitude Valley we found a gem of a music venue next door. The Indie Temple has an acoustic stage and a larger electric stage. Bands get approximately half an hour from about 7.30 onwards to do their stuff. A couple of the acoustic bands had two slots during the night. I do not know whether it was co-incidence or not but these two http://b00mb0x.org. READ MORE

This prison drama, directed by Steve Buscemi, didn’t get a cinema release here, so the dvd was just out on rental last week, which means assorted has probably seen this two and a half years ago, so maybe he’ll get to get some movie geek kudos in the comments (this is what’s called a pre-emptive comment, I knew you were going to do it, there’s no point denying it, inspectors http://b00mb0x.org. The Rolling Stones vs. The Neptunes vs. Louie Austen + Peaches vs. White Horse vs. Technotronic
This new mixer introduces himself: DJ Shir Khan (Berlin, Germany) refuses to adhere to artificial musical boundaries and is constantly searching for fresh and innovative ways to blur the lines between genres.DJ Shir Khan strives to avoid stereotypes in his music and upholds a common Boomselection philosophy by saying, “I don’t set any boundaries with my music. I play all genres. Music is universal — it’s just separated by different tempos.”At home, Shir Khan also makes some hybrid remixes and bootlegs . Then he loves, as he says, ‘to fuse everything together: the good with the bad, the old with the new.” Allusions to hip hop, incursions in famous hits and experimental breaks are melded together. Have a listen and check out his bastard pop-track “Sympathy For My Shaft”, a mash-up of The Rolling Stones, The Neptunes, Fatboy Slim, Louie Austen + Peaches, Laid Back and Technotronic.
Jagger always had erection problems, but with “The Teaches Of Peaches” and a little help from Louie he will never ever sing again the song of “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction”. Pump up this jam! Jagger has sympathy for his shaft. Grab it hard in the early morn’. Yiha!

So, nominations for this year’s awards will now close on the 22nd of November. A page listing the categories and what’s eligible will go up this weekend. Anyone who’s mailed this week will get a response this weekend. Promise.
