This mix is the closest thing I will get towards emulating the Jori Hulkonnen 2003 Essential Mix sound. I tried with Lazy//Sexy 02, and now this next effort brings me closer (at least I feel so).
This is one of those concept mixes that I do. The main focus of this mix is of deep late night emphasis. Fish Go Deep through Latrice reprasent the 10 PM -midnight sounds, with Nikola Gala through Wax Poetic being the midnight sounds. Ananda Project and Mark august are the midnight – 2 AM sounds, and the following tracks reprasent the 2 AM to 4/5 AM sounds.
This is a late night progression mix, and I really hope you feel it. I sincerely feel that this mix is my most technically sound one — the mixing and volume levels all feel comfortable. and I couldn’t be happier with the progression. I really hope you give this a listen at late hours and enjoy it as I have.
