Aside from the opening mix, For the 2010 season of Lazy//Sexy I have been really trying to emphasize deep, spiritual, summer house music — and will continue to do so for the next two mixes. As the cover displays, this mix makes for wonderful late night cocktail music, inside or out. I hope this mix helps you enjoy the sweet moments that summer evenings can give us!
On a side note, and I’ll try not to get carried away: this is my fiftieth mix. My first mix landed here in 2005 when BMBX was five, and now: BMBX is ten, Lazy//Sexy is five, and sits fifty mixes deep. Looking back there was a long period of self discovery, both technically and musically; I experimented with many different sounds (like the few curveball trance/dnb sets) before finally realizing exactly where this series is grounded.
I can’t thank this website, the users, and the fans enough. I honestly can’t. I’ve gained so much from these past five years; I can only hope that, in the process, I’ve given you a few mixes that were worth it in return
