It took a while, but Boombox is back online with a brand new front end. I hope that some of the regular boombox contributors will help me re-establish the community and eventually get some new mixes back on the site. For the moment, I concentrated on getting the full archive back online - close to 2,500 mixes by almost 300 mixers. Over time I will look into mix submission and other functionality. Bear in mind that it will be better to keep the functionality as close to standard as possible in Ghost and the associated Aspect theme, in order to avoid future upgrade issues.

I want to keep the spirit of the site the same as it was before, so for example I intend to keep it free while accepting donations for the costs associated with running the site. I will of course welcome suggestions and opinions from old boomboxers!
