Like a lot of you lately, I’ve been listening to some old mixtapes. The original incarnation of this mix was for a gay friend’s late night Pride Day party, date unknown. Remake’d/Remodel’d a few things, and added some samples (Monty Python, Austin Powers, Homer Simpson, The Matrix). Also, it’s uncredited, but you may recognize the out-of-breath breathing from the outro of a certain Roxy Music track.
As you can see, it is not a straightforward gay-themed set. So, it goes without saying that you don’t have to be gay to enjoy the music, since music transcends all boundaries… so, enjoy…
