Not all 80’s, but definitely awkward for prom/dance. Oddly though, I lived in a small town (1700 people) in East Texas in my 8th grade year, and the music they played was actually pretty progressive dance for the time. The late 80’s were my favorite for the decade, when I got into acid house, industrial, and indie nonsense. Hope you enjoy my trip down memory lane.
