Come join me on a descent into madness with sounds and music inspired by scenes from “The Shining”, one of the greatest horror films of all time.

I will post a tracklisting later although most tunes have been cut and shaped to fit the mood (that’s wot we mixers do!!). Think of it as a bedtime story with music.

Yes – I will resubmit the back cover to fix the ridiculous Morcambe and Wise reference. I spent hours trying to come up with the name of the mix and didn’t want the pun to be so obvious.

In the meantime, put your incontinence pants on, turn out the lights, grab the arm of a loved one, and enjoy!

I like the reference – think it’s a bit clever – not rubbish at all.

    Would like a tracklisting though.

Excellent literal reworking of a classic movie soundtrack.
Loved it. Especially the inclusion of the Typewriter song.

Nice one Dirk. Yet another winner. I kept smiling as yet another perfect choice popped up! Really well put together.

Fancy getting the Beatles tune wrong. Unforgivable mistake – a bit like not stabbing James Blunt with a blunt pencil!

The thing I like about this mix – as I have had a listen at least twice (thats alot for me) is the flow. It’s more like a “radio play” that flows through with the pace of the actual movie using songs as reference points. Fantastic concept. Well done. Reminds me a little of my own “radio play” I am bent.
