Sounds like a cool bar. In Florida you might expect 80’s rock (Journey, Foreigner, etc) or country music. Your bar sounds like it’s run by a hipper crowd.

Mickey’s seems very cool by that flyer. I would definitely go out if that were available here. On this mix I tried to go for what it would sound like in a club with Larry Levan and the Clash as your bookend influences. An international pallette of artists from the late 70’s and early to mid 80’s. That disco post punk time when tribal drums and a driving bassline carried the song. I also tried to capture the overlooked tracks from popular bands (B52s and Tom Tom Club). I got that Tom Tom Club 12 a month ago and wondered why it never caught on. If you like The Rapture , and !!! (here from a split 12 with Outhud) then I think this might be up your alley. Also a few new tracks thrown in to accent the older tracks. End with a 12 in dance mix of Mick Jagger, how can you go wrong. Enjoy.
