Another brilliant mix – I prefer this to Volume 1 because I recognise more of the tracks and there are some absolute belters, especially on the second half (Point Zero and Sun are two of my favourite tracks of all time).
The mix takes me back to Acid Rock, Sankeys and god knows what other clubs in Manchester when everyone was bouncing off the walls with eyes like saucers and gurning like mental.
I remember walking at 2am to Electric Chair on a beautiful night with a very elevated heart rate thinking I want to feel this way FOREVER.
Happy days.
Now it’s a glass of wine and get to bed before 10.30am.
Thanks Steve. Glad I reached at least one listener with this very particular niche of 90s electronica. There will be at least one more volume in the series, probably more back to house sounds rather than trance though. Plus, it might take a while as my home PC just gave up the ghost.
As for bed before 10.30am… sounds like you’re still living it up 😉
Brilliant is indeed the best word for this. I am so impressed. I wish I still had all these as cd’s.
A set to hear often. Big kudos to youse!
Can’t wait for vol 3!
btw – to whoever set up the archive mix spotlight. That is awesome. Thanks for that!
Thanks useo, much appreciated. I set up the archive mix feature too; not many people comment on them, but I hope a few people listen to those old mixes.
