Thanks Briscoe. I didn’t know any of the artists except Lhasa de Sela and Lana del Rey when I started the mix… always good to delve into the unknown. I got sidetracked from a completely different mix when I heard the Ornette track and decided to follow that mood.

I know what you mean, one track can inspire you to do a mix. I love it when one of my lists takes on a life of it’s own. When you make a mix of unknowns to you, what a trip that can be. You put the mix together so that you can hear these songs for yourself in a fun format. Thanks for sharing this one.

Lovely mix matrix. Gets very maudlin towards the end – but I guess that’s the point.
