i love the unknown eastern tune
oh yummy! I just love these “Biskviit” mixes… They are always so tasty 🙂 Starting the play now…
…the eastern track was just delicious… WoW! A B-52’s track I have not heard… I thought I heard them all… 🙂 know what album that track is from? “”let’s call it off” EXCELLENT track! 🙂 I am now in search if where this track came from. I must have the album this is from!!! Auuuh… it’s on this album: Peter Bjorn and John – Writer’s Block, but not the girl talk mix though… hmm…
Nice mellow mix. I like the lo-fi-disco flavor to it all. Relaxing like a nice mug of hot chocolate wit extra marshmellows 🙂 Thanks for the mix. EnJoYeD it.
thanks, green cheese
b52’s track comes from this album: http://www.discogs.com/release/220903
and the “let’s call it off” remix is featured on the single only.
What a lovely, interesting and uplifting mix this is.
And very eclectic. Made me smile out loud.
Excellent work sir.
I thank you. 🙂
The B-52’s – Bouncing Off The Satelites
How did I miss this album? I totally did not know about this album… WoW! B-52’s always been one of my old favorites. Going to have to investigate this.
Auh… very interesting. OK, this makes some sense why I did not know about this one.
Bouncing off the Satellites is the fourth studio album by New Wave band The B-52’s, released in 1986. Guitarist Ricky Wilson died of AIDS during the recording. With the band too distraught to tour, the album received minimal promotion and failed to yield any hits despite some stations initially giving good airplay to “Summer of Love”.

This is gettin d/l’d !!!
I need this in the car !!
WONDERFUL stuff!
🙂
: )
Great, interesting, ear-opening records. All very lovely.
yep, nicely done again. all over the place but hanging together well. why always 45 mins – are you still doing cassette tapes?!
cheers fellas
no, not doing the tapes any more (i was for many years!) but the length somehow stuck to me as the perfect one.
i’ve done some 60 min ones, too – but those were then split in two parts – to make them fit onto two sides of a 60 min tape.
the reason for it was that many of my friends had still cassette players in their cars so i made the mixes so they’d match the most common tapes.
today there’s no such need anymore but as i said before – i just like it. too long mixes tend to bore me.
that’s the story : )
Once gain you have the knack of picking out tunes that I have not heard of that perfectly fit the mood of your mix. Some of these must be lost gems and you have resurrected them. Congratulations on another fine mix, I loved it. cheers hp 🙂
