hey guys – I put together a 3rd (and final?) mix for the guys at work – this one called “Balls Deep” in reference to one of the guy’s girlfriend…
thanks to my main man Lewis for a shitload of great Balls Deep spoken word bits…. thanks to Bobby Corridor (and son) for their help and thanks to a bunch of ninja tune forumites for their little audio contributions!
this is another of those mixes for the kids at work – hip hop, punk rock & classic rock loaded up with inside jokes and profanities….. it’s not for everyone….(and certainly not kid friendly!)
It comes off like a dream late night fm set on the left end of the dial. The kind that would bring the dean down on you! lol
Except the sound & mixing are much better than that.
I had a blast thoughout. You never lost me & the added material was good fun!
Congrats & on the cover,too!
I didn’t enjoy this as much as I hoped, based on previous Megatrip excursions.
Great use of samples, as ever, and fine first/last sections, but the american college garage/rock band sections really wasn’t my kind of thing at all. Shame though, cause there were some fine tunes elsewhere.
maybe it’ll grow on you… this is the work crew’s favorite of the trilogy…
I am just beginning work on the 4th (in the trilogy?? I know…) cd in the series… probably won’t be ready in time for my next upload here – but stay tuned…
hopefully the new one will rock you (though there will be more “punk” rock to this one too…)
I know what Mr Lovely means about the middle bit, and it was borderline for me, but it stayed on the right side of acceptable. The rest of the set was bang on and the samples had me laughing out loud whilst walking the dog, and getting some strange looks.
You’ve got to post ‘Soul Power’ next Matt. Listened to that again the other day, and it’s defo one of your best along with ‘TNT’ and ‘Poultry Workers’.

Dangerspouse & I loved this, as usual, from KM.
