Love this! So much good to the bone soul music. Classics and new to me classics. This is perfect for me right now, since my new favorite song this year is an oldie I didn’t know about, Betty Everett “1900 Yesterday” (from Avalanches Essential Mix). This mix hits the spot!
Enjoyed this – lots to love and took me way back. Some great tunes and recognised a few classic samples. Kudos 🙂
Cheers guys. I think I will constantly have a blues and soul mix on the build from now on, as I really got into this. Can’t be rushed. I’ve just got into that Avalanches Essential Mix as well; so many good tracks. Current favourite that is bound to go in an upcoming mix is McCartney’s ‘Monkberry Moon Delight’.
and how about Yaphet Kotto eh? One of the best players in Alien and one of the best tracks on the mix.
Really enjoyed this! Thank you.

I tend to pass by blues a lot. I know I get offered blues music a lot. I still hear it often. ( every week ) This set is incredibly fine. You point out well why people push it. Thanks much.
