I decided to dig deep and go way back to vol 15. Mixed this one a couple of years ago. Freshened it up a bit for summer, so this is a remix of and old remixed mix. EnJoY. Beware, it’s a multi-colored grab bag of flavors, so an eclectic pallete is necessary for full enjoyment.
Not quite sure why – didn’t enjoy this one quite as much as the last two you posted. I reckon maybe it’s because a lot of the j-pop stuff I’m familiar with already and a bit bored of. Whereas the two last mixes I’d hardly hear any of and had some really tasty beeps.
Still a good mix though and I absolutely love Yoshinori Sunahara – he’s a total genius.
Sorry to disapoint; Well, I was a bit uninspired this month and have not been able to find time to work on a new mix. Thus the reason for digging deep into the old stuff. Next month I will bring new and wonderful bleeps and wondermeant of the unfamiliar, promise I’m still a lover of that old J-Pop stuff though. Such a happy-go-lucky beat, u know?
A mighty big pleaser to me.I am very into your cheese mixes. When I see a new one posted,I am way ready to proceed.
1,4,& 22 had me going to the playlist the most & I liked that.
So much was really enjoyable, but 15 & 18 got my attention well.
I picked up a sergio m best of.Not sure what I think yet,but my wife likes it.
Thanks for more.
Edward & Dangerscouse > I guess j-pop is an acquired taste like diet pop fiz, I’ve always enjoyed the happy beats of j-pop and a lot of my old mixes are infected with those tunes of j-pop-land. New mixes no so much at all. Next month I am hoping for a new mix 🙂 I feel some inspiration comn’ on.
useo8 > Glad you can still enjoy the mixes even with j-pop track 15 “Love Psychedelico – Green” is a special track. That’s a pretty rare Japenes group, hard to find stuff. I’ve loved Sergio M for a long long time now, those guys are in-da-pocket with rythum! I have quite a few mixes here on the box now, you will notice that my new mixes are crammed full of (Tony Mixes) there older vol’s not so much. I’m having a great time with this mixing stuff. If only I did not have to work and make money, then I could mix all the time.
That Edwards’s a right fussy bastard. He does know his j-pop though 😉 However as this sort of stuff is all new to me it was a real education, loved it – thanks pal, hp 😀 😀 😀

Hope I didn’t come across as negative… I was trying to say that I liked this one but loved the last two! 😛
I’ve got to agree with Edward on this. Usually I’m impressed with your mixes, but this didn’t quite hit the spot, but it was a good mix nevertheless.
I don’t think that J Pop agrees with me…
