the best thing about the sping to summer transition is that a lot of gorgeous music starts oozing out… viva sunshine
excellent mix mate.
right up my straat
All you can do after a mix like that is exhale.
This fit my bill to a T. I personally loved how the piano was a constant element in the mix. Each record was breathy, dreamy, and elegant… you have a fantastic ear, and the mixing was flawless.
I am loving the deep, rich house vibe we’ve been picking up on this site lately!
Thanks for your kind comments. I’ll try to be a constant contributor to this site from now on.
Spring is my absolute fav time of year, specialy the evenings an this sounds just right to me..
This is a really great mix..
Love the music..
superb buildup!!
I agree with Vepik! Exhailing is definetely recommended after this, and maybe a cigarette also..
this is real connesuer stuff!!
good one!
Maybe it sounds arrogant but I’m really proud that this is a live turntable mix I did at a bar in Munich about a year ago. There was nothing edited afterwards (except the fadeout at the ending of course).
Spring Is Near
by Dj Xnet
Kerri Chandler and Ultra Nate hit us with a nice, easygoing vocal house tune to put the leaves back on the trees. The heartache kicks in with Gamat 3000’s yearning tune to carry us into the skillful, devious “Nerves” — a house piano combo for the ages.
Rasmus Faber provides the ultimate deep house experience, not just for this mix but just in general; The pianos are gentle and the vocals are empassioned. Find the closest sexual being and work your charm immediatly, because after this song is over, all hope is lost.
Bounce away secretly with the electro minimalism of “August Macke” into the deep house treatment of Erlend Oye (Come on, deep house? Erlend Oye? Gotta be good). “She Center” keeps the subtle, warm glow moving into Phonique’s sweet vocal piano seduction. The trees are beginning to bloom now as the smooth pads of “Ropers Heaven” ease you into the easygoibg disco of “Proton Candy”. The mix ends with a tribal track track “The Charmer” that not only lives up to its name, but closes this set with complete confidence.
There’s no cliche here; spring is near. Subtle, warm, engaging, and romantic… this mix has everything you need to melt the snow and blossom the leaves. Never overwhelming and always soothing, you’ll find yourself just barely awake and just barely dancin’ out at the same time… a sound and a balance very hard to come by.
