So many awesome tracks! Love the El Michels remix. Tosca, Wolf & Lamb, Mike Flowers, Ultramarine, Plaid, Bertrand (such a big fan), Love Unltd. Love this mix!
Thanks Briscoe, Len! Good to hear someone else is a Bertrand Burgalat fan, The Sssound of Mmmusic is one of my favourite albums but I don’t think most people I know have even hard of him. As for downtempo v. midtempo, I don’t know what the definition is exactly – it’s not “dance music” so I call it downtempo although I’ll admit it does get a bit more lively towards the end – I just go where the tunes take me 😉
If you haven’t, check out “The Genius of Bertrand”, on Bungalow. I’ve had it for years, and it never gets old. It’s the productions he’s done for other artists including Nick Cave, April March, Ollano, and remixes of Ladytron and RSW. Also, “The Sssound Library” is a compilation put together by Bertrand as influences for his Sssound album.

Cool, I’ll look out for those, thanks!
Enjoyed it too, and recognized very few of the artists.
A totally fine listen. Solid & memorable. Big gracias.
