Thanks very much Len! I was trying to bring in different forms of electro without being too robot-like, or relying too much on old-school. I like dj mixes by Silicon Scally and Andy Weatherall of electro, but the mixes tend to be too much of one style, so I tried to mix it up. Detroit is all over this one, and I am trying to put Cabaret Voltaire in all of my mixes, Ex being one of my all time fave tracks.
There is some beautiful music on this mix and I’m not usually much of an electro fan. The Jedi Knights album with “May The Funk…” on it is a classic and I love the original Journey of the Dragons but the jazzier interpretation is interesting, I hadn’t heard that before.
Thanks Shining Steve! I believe a mix must be interesting, and I have no clue what is popular on Beatport. Jedi are killer, esp Dance of the Naughty Knights. UR are always tops on my list, this was from the Galaxy cd, which reminds me of their live stuff http://www.rbmaradio.com/shows/galaxy-2-galaxy-live-at-forum-theatre

The detroitness is appreciated, I’ve listened a few times and it’s great.
Briscoe, you are a king of mixes. I’ve played this 3 times so far, and it compels more! Thanks.
Thanks konrad! Repeat listens is high compliment indeed, what anyone would hope for. Thanks again!
