By the way, the cover artwork took longer than the mix….the result of three or four weeks of my daughters and I cutting out of magazines and making a collage.
I’ll comment on the rest later when I’ve finished listening but that Yeti Lane track just blew me away – amazing stuff, thanks, I have to get that now!
Excellent stuff! I’ve never tried to do an indie mix myself but I listen to this kind of stuff as much as any other genre and have a few of these in my collection already – Django Django and Mark Lanegan Band are particular favourites, and “AM 180” is a bit of a classic.

I must say this wouldn’t be something i’d tend to listen to but am really glad i have, the constant progression and the 1hour mark is amazing…
excellent work and seamless mixing
Really enjoyed this. I never seem to find any good indie mixes, but this was great. Very impressive with the transitions too.
Loved the ending….saw that fella’s video on Rude Tube!
Thanks guys. For me, the standout track is the Yeti Lane one, though the rest of that album is nowhere near the same standard.
By the way, the cover artwork took longer than the mix….the result of three or four weeks of my daughters and I cutting out of magazines and making a collage.
i love a good collagé
well done you 2…3…or 4 😉
I love a bit of Rakes I do, so that’s hard to beat, but The Macabees and Django Django did come close
So much great indie/dance, I could have sworn that I heard Bloc Party in there.
I’m loving these angular pop mixes you’re putting out – interwting, uplifting and challenging in equal measure 🙂
Cheers guys… happened to do a lot of listening to this kind of stuff recently.
No Bloc Party, I promise you 🙂
