The year I graduated High School, I remember this, but by this time I was phasuing out of punk and industrial and heading full boar into techno. This brings back memories, I was into half of these artists. Thanks for the memories!
Just started listenin to this selection, and sadly I’m gonna have to come back to it later, even tho I really wanna carry on !!
Fan bloody tastic so far !!!
Lovin it, WHAT a start ?
Rooster is one of my very favourite tunes from that whole scene, great rock song.

grunge, doesn’t exactly lend itself to beatmixing, but it got us out of hair metal and into the really great stuff towards the middle of the decade.

i started secondary school that year (13) 😀 v enjoyable mix to make
I was still full on into punk and industrial in that year…dreadlocks, goatee beard, nose rings, earrings, army boots etc etc…
Looking forward to this…it was just the other day that I was thinking of dusting off my Tad album.
For me it’s got to be ‘Touch Me I’m Sick’ for Mudhoney and ‘Territorial Pissings’ or ‘Negative Creep’ for Nirvana, but I’m getting picky now.

Nice one. 🙂
Just had a look to check.
On 23rd October 1989, Tad & Nirvana played a legendary gig at The Riverside here in Newcastle.
Peeps talked about it for ages afterwards.
Sadly i wasnt there ! 🙂
And I couldnt turn this off as stated earlier.
Wonderful compilation. Great stuff.
Thanks again fella. 🙂
